Pablo Picasso art - cubism final drawing

         Pablo Picasso art - cubism final drawing 

last month we began our cubism portraits based on pablo Picasso's cubism,in cubism you can play around with lot of shapes the facial features like your eyes, nose,mouth and ears can be different shapes and place.we did two practice drawings before completing our final product,(you can read my blogs about the here) Pablo Picasso product #1. 

Something I noticed - was my picture was that it looked so funny, and colourful, it also was kinda fun to do it.

Something I found difficult -  I struggled with making it bad because i like my drawings to be cool and nice

Something I found interesting - was you can do anything with out getting bullied for your drawing.

Something I found easy - was putting all the faccail anywhere, or multiplying.

for this picture I wanted him to have four eyes, and to be muscular and handsome, but also weird and interesting.

Current Events - Iceland Effusive Eruption

Today for Current Events WE were learning about the 2010 incident in Iceland, an Volcano was still active and still erupting for 1 week.]]

• The main person in this article is the Iceland Volcano Effusive eruption and the People of Iceland there have been people who have been there to have a glimpse on what a Volcano looks like in person erupting for a week, Iceland has one of the beautifullest northern lights ever here is a video press on this link  .

•  The key event in this article is The Volcano  ( Iceland Effusive Eruption) Has been erupting for one/1 week, non stop. Volcanoes erupt because of density and pressure. The lower density of the magma relative to the surrounding rocks causes it to rise (like air bubbles in syrup.)    

• The event took place in Iceland - Iceland is located between Northern America and the middle of Europe, Iceland is defined by their  landscape with volcanoes, geysers, hot springs and lava fields. Massive glaciers.

• The date and time the event/article happened was, The 2010 eruptions of Eyjafjallajökull were a period of volcanic events at Eyjafjallajökull in Iceland which, although relatively small for volcanic eruptions, caused enormous disruption to air travel across western and northern Europe 

• In 2010 this event/article an Volcano was still active and was still erupting for 1 week in Iceland, it was very strange and beautiful meaning people watched the volcano erupt and all the lava coming down, it looked like free light for the night. I wished I was there to see it, but even If I was there in Europe my mom would probably won’t let me go, because it might burn me, or touch me.

 

          This event took place in Iceland Iceland, a Nordic island nation, is defined by its dramatic landscape with volcanoes, geysers, hot springs and lava fields. Massive glaciers are protected in Vatnajökull and Snæfellsjökull national parks. Most of the population lives in the capital, Reykjavik, which runs on geothermal power and is home to the National and Saga museums, tracing Iceland’s Viking history.

 Today for Nouns we are learning about Conjunctions, Conjunctions is a word that joins words  apart of sentences together and show what kind of connection there is between them. Conjunctions can be used at the beginning  or somewhere in the middle of a sentence.

Today for Religious Education, we were learning about Lent, and how it renews us.

here is some facts about Lent: The season of lent comes after advent, Lent is a season for prayer, almsgiving and fasting, the other penitential season is ordinary time, Lent prepares us for the feast of Easter, People use lent as a time of renewal and spiritual growth to focus on their relationship with Jesus.

Soul Friends shared lunch

Soul Friends Shared lunch

today ( 17th of March 2021 ) We had soul friends mass, my soul friend is Tony, and Joshua. After The soul Friends mass we had morning tea with my soul friend ( Tony and Joshua ) for morning Tea I got Tony and Joshua some food ( we had to do that for shared lunch ) I got them 2x Chocolate drink with a 1 kebabs. I took some photos with my soul friends.

today ( 17th of March 2021 ) We had soul friends mass, my soul friend is Tony, and Joshua. I didn't know but Joshua was planning something with Mrs William and her other kids. A girl came up to our class and asked for, me, Sione, Krystal, Mele, Moala, Xavier, and marai, to come down to Mrs. Williams class I saw my soul friend had something in his hand just like the other little kids, Mrs. Williams said give your card to them, it was so cute after we got our card we had to take a photo together after that all of us took a photo, (me, Sione, Krystal, Mele, Moala, Xavier, and maraia ) with our soul friends, then we went back to our class. 

I was very excited to see that my soul friend ( Joshua) gave me a card, it was so cute, I liked that I got Joshua and Toni as my soul friend.:)

Soul Friend, Ash Wednesday, and St Patrick's mass

 Today for Saint Pius X we had a very special mass. This mass is special because we celebrated three important occasion for our school. They are, St Patrick's Day, soul friends and Ash Wednesday. A swe journey in the fourth week of lent, today we honour St. Patrick who is the patron Saint of the Irish people.

Ash Wednesday is a christian holy day of fasting and praying. If you go to church on Ash Wednesday Father would have ashes in his hand and put a cross on your forehead  

Saint Patrick was a fifth-century Romano-British Christian missionary and bishop in Ireland. Known as the "Apostle of Ireland", he is the primary patron saint of Ireland.

Soul friends don't have to be together constantly. They are in a continuous telepathic connection but are not always there for each other physically.

 Today for math we are doing ruler plus pen plus pencil.

 Today for math slides we were solving multiplication using place value, place value is when you have like 289, and you have a chart which is ones, ten, hundred, thousands, ten thousands, what do you think 289 goes in the chart.

My Aunts Enormous Birthday

Today we had a test for writing, my writing is about My aunt's birthday, and my coinsins coming from Blenheim.

The funniest part was writing this.

the hardest part was reading over it 2x times.

                 My Auntys enormous birthday

In the summer holidays, it was my aunt's birthday, and my cousin from Blenheim were coming over I also couldn’t wait for the food and for the birthday lady, my aunty was turning 30 on the 16th of January we have been planning this ever since it was January we had so many decorations and balloons that if the balloons were to squashed it would pop!, Obviously my aunty didn’t know or did she? but i'm pretty sure she didn’t know because my other aunty kidnapped her and ran away, nonono i was just kidding my aunty took her somewhere else.

 Everything was ready now all we had to do was wait for our cousins to arrive, it took them 2- 3 hours to get ready and come. They finally came when they came. I was happy to see, we started to play made up games like someone would have a nerf gun, and there would be a runner, the hunter (the person with the nerf gun) who has to shoot us and if he hits us we have to be a hostage.

I was out of breath, but it was time to sing happy birthday to my aunty, everyone started to surround her, there were about 30 - 32 people there!, I was so squashed. We started to sing happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you…  and it kept on going, once that was finished ohh boy, we had food!! The food was so good, it started to get dark and so my cousins left, while my cousin stayed here, my cousin that came from Blenheim stayed at my other cousin's house which was in Sunnynook. 

It was about 2:00 o‘ clock in the morning, and it seemed that we had to pack everything away. My cousin was still here as we packed everything away. My cousins and I were playing video games. The time reached 3:00 o’clock and they had to go, my mum said I can go with them and so I did, as we left my baby cousins and stayed with them.

I felt Excited and Nervous, to see my cousins, and happy that we played together. I wish we could do this again and we did do it again, but that's a whole other story, thank you for reading this:).

Current Events - The Americas Cup

Yesterday was the America's Cup ( 10/2/2021 ) The America's Cup is a sport which takes after Voyagers, so basically it wanting us to remember our ancestors who were voyagers, I have done a google slide.

The Funnest part was watching the video and seeing that our team is tied with Luna Rose.

The Hardest part was answering the questions.<

 Today for CyberSmart, we are learning about our webcams, Webcams are these little circle thing in the middle of your laptop, they turn green🟩 or red🟥 when its on, I have takenen a photo of me as an animcharacterer you can call me Shiqaroki.

Pablo Picasso Art - Cubism Drawing #1

 Yesterday, the 9th of March Te Wairua Pakiki 4 (TWP4) did some art that is based on Pablo Picasso's cubism art.                                              you're probably wondering who is Pablo Picasso? Pablo Picasso was born on 25 October 1881 pablo Picasso is a famous artist, he is known to use cubism, cubism is art which you can play around with lots of shapes. the facial features like your eyes, nose mouths and ears can be in different shapes and places. Our Teacher said "Cubism is that it looks as if the painting dropped and cracked, and was rearranged when put back together." When we looked at pictures we noticed that he had lot of shapes hidden in this paintings.

after our teacher demonstrated and we saw lots of examples it was out turn to draw. This is the demonstrations on how to draw it. step 

1: In Pencil, draw your head, any shape will work. You can use a mirror or your imagination. 

Step 2: Add your facial Features, Eyes,Nose,mouth,etc. Try to use shapes you noticed in your discussion. 

Step 3: Add your Hair. What Lines can you use to look like hair?.

Here is my first attempt using cubism on my drawing!.

The Opposite Gender Worksheet

 One the 8th of March was International Women's day. In our class we do an activity. First we had to get in a group of four or a pair ( 2 people ) my group was Sio, Aniseko & Aston and then second we copied a good drawing , then we had to say a positive thing about a girl and also challenges of being a girl.this is Our Activity  me, and the females have to do the same thing, but they had to say something positive about a boy, and something that is very challenging for a boy.

Taniela - Hoiho Math

Today for my math starters, I did a sequence. Its sort of like adding numbers or dividing or times, the number you get, you see i did 2 x 6 which equals: 12 and then I would plus it by 28 which equals 40, I keep adding the number or taking away the number by the equation. 

The hardest part was finding out what the right answer was.

The easiest part about this was doing the title.
