Wow I learnt so much about Nelson Mandela from the explanation we were given. I did not know he spent 18 years of his life in Robben Island Prison. Did you know that Robben Island is located west of Cape town? You can see the island from the city centre!
You have created a very thoughtful journal entry. A student discussed that he would miss out on the changes on the outside world. I didn’t think about this at all. He probably wouldn’t know a lot about new technology and how to use it. Hm, what would be something else that would be new to him when he stepped out of prison?
