Cyclone warning system set up in Pacific

A cyclone warning system has been put in place in the Pacific.

The warning system is the first of its kind in this part of the world and will go live in Fiji this week.The early warning system was developed to give island nations more notice of the likely impact of cyclones.This comes after 44 people died when the devastating Cyclone Winston tore through Fiji in 2016.A New Zealand-based hydrologist named Bapon Fakhruddin designed the system Fiji’s cyclone season starts in November and goes until April.Only six other countries in the world have cyclone early warning systems. Fiji Met Service will operate the early warning system.

Most kids have heard of the two youtube megastars, KSI, from England, and Logan Paul, from the USA. So you can imagine that a boxing match between them would gain attention from all across the world.

More than 10 million people watched the famous rematch between the two stars, and it didn’t disappoint. Logan was sent to the ground in the third round, but Ksi was dropped to the floor by an uppercut that shocked the crowd.

KSI won the fight after 6 three minute rounds, but only because of 2 illegal punches by Paul in the aftermath of the uppercut. If you watched the fight, who do you think deserved to win? The two stars share 40 million youtube subscribers between them, and you can only expect that to rise.

Some trick or treaters received their Halloween sweets from a house which is usually off-limits – that’s right, the White House!Today is Halloween. To mark the occasion US President, Donald Trump, and Mrs. Trump have been meeting trick or treaters and dishing out goodies to little goblins, superheroes, and dinosaurs! Military families along with local school children and their families attended the festivities and received sweets and souvenirs from the President and first lady. New Zealand struggled against the size of the world number eight side.

China was in control from the start and led 50-29 at the break. 

The second half was a lot closer, which will please the Tall Ferns, they drew the third quarter 19-19 and lost the final
frame by just two, but the damage was already done. 

Chinese shooting guard Meng Li top-scored for the visitors with 18 points, and four assists.

For the Kiwis, captain Kalani Purcell led the way with a game-high 21 points.

The Tall Ferns will need to beat Korea on Sunday night to have any hopes of reaching the Tokyo Olympics .

500 sq m (5,386 sq ft).A Guinness World Record judge was in attendance to measure and verify the attempt
.The previous record was held by by Aman Singh Gulati, with a drawing measuring 410 sq m (4,4136sq ft).
