Te Oro And Matariki

In the morning we lined up to go to Te Oro. Us and Room Five walked down Line  Street. When we got to Te Oro we had  to take off our shoes.  We saw a Maori lady with a moko on her face.  She told us that the ladies had to go in first. The boys then followed them.  We all sat quietly on the mat. The Maori people sang a song to us. After they sang they divided us into groups.

They put me with Whaia Kelly’s group. We learned how to draw  a Koru and piko piko and niho and a hammerhead shark.

We all went to get rocks and we started to paint. I painted with gold glitter, red glitter, and  green glitter, and green and purple paints. I was trying to paint myself but instead I painted a pig.

We introduced ourselves to the whole group. Bella  had to explain what we did.

At 12:am Rm3 went to to the court. After we got there we were late. when we got there we had to get basketball’s. When I got mine we had to team up with 2 players, me and Jabez were a team

Mr.Juhlala told one of the teammates to stand on the yellow line and the person that’s not on the yellow line has to take ten steps away. then mrs Jahlil took maola as his partner he told us what to do after.

He told us what to do, he told us the amount of numbers we have to go up to. We had to go up to 30 then we started going.  Jabez and I were up to 29 then we finish then we played golden child with the girls.

Our team didn’t have enough girls then coach juhala said “Who wants to go in the girls team?” Then Aisake and Savior were in the girls team. Then the other team were shooting and Amihuti was the golden child. The shooting team was was trying to get the running team out. The running team were trying to make it to the finish before the shooting team got the basketball in the hoop.

Cross Country

In the morning I went to room6. Claudia was setting us up to go. When we got the shelf Jabez and Opeti took me and Huti. Lau was in the car when  we got there we all went to the hall when we got to the hall. Mr. Slaid was there he was wearing boots he said the year threes had to go first when Mr. Slaid said on your mask get set go. I was coming third when we were runing  we were going the wrong way but the the officers. Came over and said your going the wrong way me and Lisate and 5 poeple went back was still going the right way. I got to the fininsh line and then i came 1.
