Taniela - Recount Writing Term 4 22nd October 2020
25th of February 2020:
The very First thing we are going to do at school is going to be exciting.
Today we are going to Goat Island for a class trip, we are the only class who's going (TWP 5 is going ) . We have packed all our clothes after swimming, I'm nervous and curious, of what they will lay forward for us.
Later We got into a bus, the bus looked like a rugby bus. It was cool because: it had some cool features on it, like putting your seat down, and aircon. Before that day my teacher (Mrs Nees Kairua) told us that the drive is unexpectedly 1 and a half hour drive, it didn't seem that long, but it was so long, we were singing "wheels on the bus goes round and round," and I think the bus driver was annoyed, but it was funny.
The next thing that happened. We (TWP 5) finally made it, it looked cool, and deep. And we met a man named Frazier, he said "he was the manager of this travelling system." He set up 2 groups one goes swimming, the other stays and explores the fish and the island. I was in Fraziers group, which meant we were explorers, while the others went swimming.
Halfway in there Jacob and I were trying to find fish by the rock near the water, the swimmers were almost finished. "Jacob and I" saw an Eagle as big as a pig, but then Frazier corrected us saying, "that is not a Eagle it is a Turkey Vulture" I didn't wanna ask what a "Turkey Vulture" was because I thought i would get embarrassed.
We finnaly got into the water, it was freezing cold, but it didn't matter. "Jacob and I" were in a group, we saw so many fish, I almost touched some, then we got to another island, but actually Goat Island is a Marine reserve, I left Jacob, then "I and Huti raced, it seemed to bet a tie, but we didn't know, because both couldn't see, we finally got back to shore, and changed, everybody was setting on the ground, eating a apple. We all got into the bus, and left, I Slept through the whole drive. We got back to school and everyone was waiting, then we all went home, my hair was so messy.

Who? My auntys, my cousins, Josaia, Maraia.
What? My uncle's team lost 102 - 7, but it was a very amusing game .
When? We got there at 11:33, and we went home at 4'o o'clock
Where? In mount wellington grounds, in "57 Hamlin Rd".
Why? We went to my uncle's rugby game, in mount wellington rugby grounds.
How? WE got there by a van, and when we stopped, we started to walk.
First Saturday morning, 17th of October , My aunty informed us that our cousins are coming over for an event that they are taking us to, I didn't know what that event was?. My aunty started to tell us that we have to clean up the whole house or we are not going, so we started to, we also have to shower. Doing all that work was a drag, it was so exhausting.
After cleaning up We had to go to the library to return our books, I didn't have to, because I already did . 30 minutes later we exited the library with new books, our cousins were here, they took us. In the car my aunty said "that they were going to watch my uncle's game in 57 Hamlin Rd", I asked "where is that" "in Mount Wellington rugby field" she said.
Later We arrived there, and the game had already started, it looked like Marist was winning (my uncle's team) I didn't really know.? This boy had a blue rugby ball, he started shouting out who wanted to play rugby, my cousin said "ok!". 1 hour passed everybody was so energetic, i was out of breath, the game was almost finished.
Finnaly it would be over, Marist was so close to the try line, but Mt Wellington's defence was good, Marist had so much space that they could try, and they scored,my uncle scored and the ref announced "try". The game finished, and the other team (Mt Wellington) won by 102 - 7. it was a very good game, I hope we do it next week.

Where was I ohh yeah... So I was asking Safari, “hey Safari!
Search up baby yoda”, she said “the details to yoda issssssss,
Safari safari’” ( I started to hit it) (thud) “what happened”
I said then a voice saying “who is this and why did you call
me”, i said “huh is this a prank they said no this Baby Yoda”
(“hey be loyal like me tell me who you are”) (Dun Dun Duh).
Search up baby yoda”, she said “the details to yoda issssssss,
Safari safari’” ( I started to hit it) (thud) “what happened”
I said then a voice saying “who is this and why did you call
me”, i said “huh is this a prank they said no this Baby Yoda”
(“hey be loyal like me tell me who you are”) (Dun Dun Duh).

I said “who is this? Or else I will call the Cops!” They kept on
saying “Baby Yoda”, I kept on saying “I will call the cops tell
me who you are”, they said I know where you live”, and also
“I know you “Jackson Smith” (main character), “but your real
name is Xavier Naden my real name is”… to be continued

are just a myth”,” oohhh you saw me ai do I look good”, NO!
You look adorable, “how dare you I will slice you with this
lightsaber”, (Jackson mum wants you) (my older brother)
“tell her im on the phone i'm speaking to someone”
(ok i’ll tell her) wait!.. Is there food (no) “ohh dang ask her if
she can get me something”. (Nahh) “wait... you didn’t tell your
brother your real name huh so much for being loyal”. I tried
everything to get him off but it wouldn’t work he kept on say
things and kept on annoying me, until BOOM something my
phone turned black i tried to turn it on until a charging sign
saying charge. But I wanted to know more about are Star
wars real and are they here to attack us. Stay tuned to know

but curious about if it was all real. Until vrroom my phone was
charged, so I asked safari with a big man voice where is the”
baby yoda” five times I searched him up but no phone calls or
no messages. Until boom a light bulb was above my head
saying “check your account on Facebook”, so I checked and
then I saw a text from a man named unknown. It sounded a
little suspicious, but I checked…. To be continued

I saw him face to face, almost because he took a picture.
It was kind of blurry . He was with my mum just standing
behind her… with witha (struggling to talk) knife I couldn’t
believe it… (I couldn’t say anything)

I was afraid, angry, and furious. And also I thought is my mum
going to die or is this some sort of prank, so i gently walked to
the door, and gently tried to gently open it, but it would make
this creacking noise (creak, creack) then it finally opened, i
looked everywhere to see if he was there, then i went
downstairs and i saw blood flowing under a little crack leading
to the living room.

Immediately I ran back to my room, I tried and tried to call my mom and my big brother none of them answered, then i speed walked to the living room, i was really scared but the door was slightly opened no one was in there, Until BBBB AAAA AAAA NNNNNNNNGGGGGGGG
They scared me I was so scared that i punched the air, they said “Happy Halloween” I said mum you're alive, until I saw Baby Yoda behind my mum I jumped so high that i fell on Baby Yoda, and I started to choke him then he also said… (can’t really speak) “Happy HalloweenIE” my mum was trying to get me off, I was manicured in this place, I kept on choking him, then he took of his mask it was a robot. Why (because my older brother had a school exam for his graduation) for today.
From that day on I kept on asking my brother how did
he hack my phone “hes just a robot a dumb” ( i said
mumbulying) “huh my robot didn’t do that i never accessed him to.
